Hej !

My name is Daniel Kong.

I have been working professionally as a storyboard artist within the advertising and film industry for 15+ years. 

I specialize in storyboards for client pitches, film production and animatics. 

Based in Stockholm I do most of my work with the talented locals but I also work with clients in Europe, US and Asia.

My forte are minimalistic storyboards in black and white with clear lines and strong storytelling. I also do shaded and colored work, of course.

Focus have always been to make the maximum amount of impression with the minimum amount of distraction. Whether I am drawing a curious toddler or a city skyline I only draw what is needed to deliver the idea, the story and the emotion.

What may appear simplistic in my style comes from years of conscious effort to communicate more with less.

I work 100% remotely and as I am generally a quite busy storyboard artist this brings several benefits to the people I work with.

Since I am doing my meetings online, I am able to get to work on your storyboards a lot faster, deliver them quicker and be more often available for your revisions.

And no need to worry about the "remote" thing.

During our call I can share the screen of my drawing tablet so that you can watch instantly as I sketch out your ideas. No guesswork needed.

Director´s have even been in the middle of very remote location scouts while watching me sketch on their phones.

With experience I am very aware of the time I need for a certain amount of work. Therefore I can easily adjust my style and detail level to your budget and deadline.
